What you need:

What to do:
1. Log on to Twisted Max Tales in the Kids section of Scholastic.com.
2. Pick a story with your child.
3. Next, ask him to fill in the blanks to create his own tale.
4. When the story is finished, he might want to print it out and illustrate it.
5. As an additional extension, grab a pencil and paper and create your own Twisted Max Tale with your child. Invite a sibling or friend to provide the responses (names, things, adjectives) and see how wacky the tale becomes!
