Football season is here! Before the season starts, the players spend many hours a day on the field and in the weight room making their bodies strong. Did you know that football players also have to study? Each player needs to memorize hundreds of plays that his team will use. Players also have to try to predict the plays their opponents will use.

Today, many National Football League players have a secret study weapon that many teens across America are familiar with: video games. Many NFL players are big fans of video games. Reche Caldwell of the New England Patriots uses the video games' create-a-play function to design Patriot plays and run them on the video game. "It's kind of like you're playing, and you're studying your playbook," he says. This is proof that studying can be fun too!
