TWILIGHT STARS

It's no wonder millions of girls would like to be Kristen Stewart. The 17-year-old high school senior has the dream role of the year—playing Bella Swan in the movie version of the very poplar book Twilight. Kristen, a home-schooled high school senior, identified with her character, a "girl who gets caught up in this extravagant situation"—that is, falling in love with a vampire!

British actor Robert Pattinson, Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movies, plays the very handsome vampire Edward Cullen. He loved working with Kristen and playing the part, though learning to play baseball and doing high-flying wire stunts have been a challenge. "I'm not an action-movie guy at all," he confesses. Dealing with fame has been tough too: He's been mobbed everywhere he's appeared on the movie's publicity tour, and caused a near-riot in more than one place.

Even so, Robert is looking forward to making the movies from the next books in the series, as is Taylor Lautner, whose werewolf character Jacob Black will have a bigger role in the next one. The only drawback? The long wig he has to wear. "It's very itchy," he explains, "and it was always getting in my mouth!"

EMA AWARDS GREEN CARPET REPORT

Lots of stars turned out for the Environmental Media Awards, honoring the eco-friendliest people, companies, TV shows, and movies, including Playhouse Disney's Handy Manny and football's Philadelphia Eagles. Nat and Alex Wolff of The Naked Brothers Band, there with mom Polly Draper and cousin Jesse Draper, were nominated for their special episode polar bears, an endangered species due to global warming. "It's made a lot of kids more environmentally conscious," Nat said proudly. He and Alex always recycle at home, turn the lights off when they leave, and don't keep the refrigerator open while deciding what to eat. "We want this stuff to become second nature for people," he said.

* The Naked Brothers Band, now touring weekends (so they don't miss school) through December 14, donate a portion of their concert proceeds to saving the polar bears.

* "An event like this puts the message out there and makes us aware of what we can do, what we shouldn't do, and the people who are really making a difference," said Lauren Storm, excited to be at the EMAs. Lauren recycles, uses energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs, buys ‘green' cleaning products, natural organic skin creams and makeup, and takes her own bags to the store—and the farmers market. "It's so important to support your local farmers," Lauren believes.

* Chris and Kyle Massey attended the EMAs for the fourth time. "We've come for the past four years and every year we learn something different," said Chris. "We've cut back on running the water, and we're picking up trash in the community. The brothers will make a movie together next year and will take part in a December TV music special called The Spirit of Christmas.

WHAT TO WATCH

* The Jonas Brothers will appear on That Moment with Jake Steinfeld November 26 at 8 and 11 p.m. ET/5 and 8 p.m. PT, repeating November 29 at 6 and 11 p.m. ET/3 and 8 p.m. PT on WGN. The boys recently signed to make their big-screen acting debuts—along with little brother Frankie—in a movie version of the popular children's book Walter the Farting Dog.

* Miley Cyrus makes her animated movie debut in Bolt, about a TV superdog (voice of John Travolta) who thinks he's got special powers for real. The duo team up to sing a new song on the soundtrack, "I Thought I Lost You." Miley can now be heard singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on the All Wrapped Up holiday CD, also featuring songs by Demi Lovato, Aly & AJ, Jonas Brothers, Jordan Pruitt, and Plain White T's.

* On November 22 at 9 p.m., The Naked Brothers Band star in the new Nickelodeon hourlong movie Operation Mojo, which will feature two new songs written and performed by Nat Wolff. Then on November 26 at 8:30 p.m., Nick debuts the NBB's first animated special, The Supetastic 6
