Gotta love April Fools’ Day! You get to act like a kid and enjoy family mischief. To warm up, I tried "The Broom and Water Scam." I climbed a ladder, pressed a cup of water to the ceiling with a broom, and asked a pal to hold tight to the end. Then I climbed down and removed the ladder, leaving him stranded with a cup of water over his head. Hee hee. I hope your family is inspired to join the spirit of the day! For a step-by-step slideshow of how to work this gag, click here.

All P&C pranks adapted from The Encyclopedia of Immaturity (Klutz, 2007).
