1. Mystic Seaport Lighthouse (Mystic, CT) A replica of a 1746 Massachusetts beauty, this tower houses a multimedia exhibit about lighthouses around the country. mysticseaport.org
 
2. Point Cabrillo Light Station (Mendocino County, CA) The 1909 light station is a great spot for Pacific Ocean whale watching during migration season (December to April). pointcabrillo.org

3. Grays Harbor Light (Westport, WA) Grab an inspiring view of the Olympic Peninsula from the top of the third tallest lighthouse on the West Coast. Call 360-268-0078 for a tour schedule.

4. Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse (Baltimore, MD) The oldest screw-pile lighthouse in Maryland, this mid-19th century tower looks like a flying saucer outside and an ordinary house inside.  baltomaritimemuseum.org
