Teacher's Guide to Making Student Movies

Lights, Camera, Action!

Is the next Steven Spielberg just waiting to be discovered in your classroom? With the advent of inexpensive video-editing tools such as iMovie and MovieMaker, digital video has become accessible to many classrooms. Students can create professional-looking video content complete with voiceovers, transitions and text effects.

Here's the story of my adventures with student-created movies. The four sections under "More Information" offer step-by-step guides, examples, and student handouts to help you get started.
