Archie Comics
Great for girls, teenagers Archie, Reggie, Betty, and Veronica are still struggling their way through Riverdale High and competing with each other for dates.

The Avengers
When a foe appeared that no single superhero could defeat, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and others came together to pool their powers and fight together.

Batman
Without a single superpower, the Dark Knight fights crime in Gotham every night against supervillains and purse-snatchers alike.

Catwoman
Though a thief, this feline is far from fiendish and will battle against killers and villainous plots. Complex and often dark, she's best for older readers.

Daredevil
Blinded as a child by radioactive material, Matt Murdock found his other senses greatly enhanced. Both as a lawyer by day and as Daredevil by night, he fights crime and injustice.

Groo
The hilarious Eisner Award-winning series follows the adventures of the dumbest barbarian in history and his loyal dog, Rufferto.

The Fantastic Four
Made up of the Thing, the Human Torch, the Invisible Woman, and Mr. Fantastic, the Four are linked by both a desire to explore and fight evil by the bonds of blood, marriage, and friendship.

The Incredible Hulk
Teach your child about the consequences of anger with the larger-than-life adventures of this green giant.

Justice League Adventures
Alien invasions, natural disasters, and attempts at world domination are just some of the challenges the seven superheroes of the JLA face.

Superman
He may come from Krypton, but he is Earth's greatest champion. Headquarted in Metropolis, he works at the Daily Planet as alter ego Clark Kent — alongside Lois Lane.

The Tick
This big, blue superhero and his dumpy sidekick Arthur may not be the most powerful heroes, but their adventures are hilarious.

Teen Titans
These adolescents fight monumental battles as they deal with growing pains, relationships, and tough issues like death and loss.

Tintin
Generations of readers have followed the adventures of reporter/detective Tintin and his dog, Snowy, as they travel the world and uncover its greatest mysteries.

Usagi Yojimbo
Follow the adventures of this warrior, this protector of innocents, this . . . rabbit, as he travels through Japan honing his skills and fighting robbers and bandits.

Wonder Woman
The first female superhero with her own successful series, this Amazon is still going strong fighting for truth and justice.

X-Men
Between fights, this mutant team deals with prejudice against their kind. Filled with strong female characters such as Storm and less-than-perfect heroes like Wolverine.
