Sonia Levitin gives various presentations depending on age and interests. She has a presentation entitled "Secrets of a Scribbler: The How, What, and Why of Writing," which is a combination of her personal experiences as a writer: how she gets ideas, how she works, her goals. She can also give a brief workshop for writers to go get them started and keep them writing.

Slide presentations include, "Sudan, A Country in Crisis," "Ancient Egypt and Bible Times," and "Ethiopia, Life and Rescue of Ethiopian Jews."

She also has a presentation of her title, Nine for California, for children grades 1-4. In it, she enacts a stagecoach journey in the old west and dresses up in "Mama's" costume. She selects children from the audience to help her portray the story. Her "actors" are given hats and other props to get into character. She will also give out licorice whips to the audience.

Another popular presentation is based on her Journey to America. This ties into the Holocaust and immigration studies, based on her personal experience as a child, her family's escape from Nazi Germany, and their immigrant experience in the U.S.

Sonia's Clem Chances presentation is based on adventures in the wild west, the truth about the western trail, and what Sonia learned while doing research for the book, including stories about the Pony Express, the Mormon Trail, slavery, and Bull Whackers.

Her latest presentation is "Finding our Heroes and Ourselves." This workshop demonstrates how to find values in literature and through guided discussion and to encourage students to reflect those values in their own lives.
