By Betsy Lewin and nullBetsy Lewin will make a 45 minute slide presentation on her approach to writing and illustrating for children. She will talk about how she finds inspiration in illustrating the works of other authors, and her own picture books, inspired by her extensive travels around the world. She will also do a drawing demonstration. A Q&A session follows at the end of the program.
Equipment requirements:
- Kodak Carousal projector
- Microphone
- Easel, paper & marker OR overhead projector
Suggested audience: Grades K–3
Maximum number of presentations per day: 3–4
Honorarium: $1800 per day plus expenses. $3000 per day plus expensese for both Betsy and Ted Lewin.
