Make Way for Ducklings Extension Activities

Curriculum Crossover:

  1. Borrow a bird song record or tape from the library or a parent and play it for the children. Ask them if they have heard birds sing similar songs. Are all bird songs alike? How do they differ?
  2. Ask students to describe what it would be like to be the last duckling in line when they crossed Beacon Street.
