Welcome to The Healthy Classroom! This educational series is brought to you by CIGNA, a health service company that believes good health is good fun. As teachers, we know how important it is to keep your students healthy!

This Healthy Classroom program offers great materials on nutrition, germs, and plenty of general wellness tips to share with your class. The following lesson plans, activities and reproducibles will help you keep them active, nourished, and ready to learn!

OBJECTIVE:

Students will demonstrate the ability to advocate for their personal health, as well as the health of their family and community
Students will demonstrate the ability to practice healthy behavior, and to reduce and avoid health risks
Students will learn essential concepts about germ prevention and how to maintain positive hygiene in the classroom
Students will learn essential concepts about nutrition and how to make healthy food choices
