Layn Marlow
Biography
Layn Marlow was a bartender and a library assistant before she became a children's book author and illustrator. Her books include How Many Sleeps?, written by Amber Stewart and The Witch with a Twitch. She has again teamed up with Amber for I'm Big Enough. "I had enjoyed illustrating one of Amber's picture books, so I was very happy to have the chance to do another," says Marlow. "When I first drew Bean, the feisty but sensitive protagonist of I'm Big Enough, she was a very humanized rabbit. She stood on two legs and even had a red bow in her hair. However, thanks to the vision of my wonderful editor and art director, plus some quality time spent in the company of Flopsy, the pet rabbit, I was able to give Amber's story a sublter interpretation, as little bean becaem the far more rabbity character she is now!"
Layn Marlow currently lives with her husband and two children in the United Kingdom. When she isn't working on her art, she can be found walking the countryside and daydreaming about moving to the seaside for cliff top walks in the salty sea air.
