by Lois Duncan and Shonto Begay

This authentic Navajo tale, enchantingly told, and powerfully illustrated, demonstrates the importance of keeping one's life in balance. Wandering Girl makes a promise to Spider Woman not to spend too much time weaving, but the moment the springtime world bursts into glorious color, she gives way to an uncontrollable obsession to create the most beautiful blanket in the world.
