Clement Clarke Moore

Biography

Moore studied at Columbia College (1798) became a Hebrew scholar, and was a founder of the General Theological Seminary in New York City. He is most known for a poem he wrote for his children, A Visit from St. Nicholas, later known as Night Before X-mas.
