Brian Cassie
Biography
A dedicated naturalist, conservationist, and teacher, Brian Cassie has led nature tours in Costa Rica, Belize, Mexico, Venezuela, and Jamaica as well as closer to home in Maine and Massachusetts. He has worked with the Audubon Society and Butterflies Through Binoculars Tours, and is president of both the Nuttall Ornithological Club at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Butterfly Club. Cassie's expertise extends to tropical ecology, Arctic animal life, plants, seashells, birds, butterflies, and New England natural history.
Cassie enjoys sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the natural world with children, something he is able to do through school visits and his critically acclaimed contributions to the National Audubon Society First Field Guides. Cassie lives with his family in Massachusetts.
