Michael Cadnum
Biography
Michael Cadnum is the author and illustrator of many books for children and young adults. His book Shave received numerous awards and honors, and are continuing to do so. He was born and raised in Southern California, and lived most of his life in the San Franciso Bay area. He has lived in England, and has spent a good deal of time in Western Europe and parts of the Middle East. Mr. Cadnum has been writing for as long as he can remember — and drawing story pictures before that. He has spent time working in many different fields, but he especially enjoys working with children and young people, both as a teacher and as a writer. He enjoys helping them with their own poems and stories and encouraging them in their talents.
