Clifford Learns About the Circus and So Do We! (This is also the caption on my bulletin board)
Students will discover the characteristics of many circus jobs, animals, and activities through literature, poetry, science, math, art, drama, and movement.
OBJECTIVE
Students will:
- Name the kinds of jobs people have at the circus.
- Name five animals that are in a typical circus. Tell where they are from, what they eat, the female and male names for each animal, and what their babies are called.
- Select a favorite circus book.
- Role-play a clown trick.
- Make a clown book.
- Explain what a circus is and why we have it.
