Creating assignments using PowerPoint is one way to motivate students to perform. In this unit, your students will engage in creative ways to respond to literature, including writing their own PowerPoint presentation, while using important reading skills.

OBJECTIVE
Students will:

  1. Learn about cause and effect as they understand the consequences people face when time travel is attempted
  2. Identify main ideas and supporting details within a short story
  3. Create a PowerPoint presentation
  4. Present their PowerPoint presentations before their class
