Create Pressed Flowers

Take a walk with your child and collect some flowers. When you get home, press the flowers between two pieces of tissue paper, and then cover it with newspaper. Place it inside a heavy book and let it dry for two to four weeks. Once the flowers are completely dried, preserve them inside a frame or shadowbox and hang it in a prominent location.
