Hang a Picture for It's and Its

To help your kids remember words like it's and its, try hanging a picture! Write the following on a sheet of paper: It's = contraction. "It's (It is) raining outside!" Its = possession. "The ant carries its lunch." Then, draw a picture of each sentence. Your kids will remember those pictures and associate them with the correct word.
