When helping with math problems, think about what your child loves most and add that topic to the math equation. While “What is 12 – 5?” might seem abstract and dull, by changing the question to “If Luke has 12 worms and eats 5 of them, how many does he have left?” you’re sure to make subtraction a whole lot more interesting.
