Photo Sequencing Activity

It can be fun for kids to see photos of the same thing as it moves, changes, or grows, and then put them in the correct order. You can do this in a longer-term project, such as taking photos of a tree through the seasons, or just in one season — such as fall, when the leaves rapidly change and drop off, or spring, when plants begin to bloom. Or you could do a quicker project, such as taking photos of each step as you make a cake. Store the photos in zipper storage bags so that you can give them to your child to sequence whenever you like.
