On a Roll!

Find a cardboard box, tempera paints, a white sheet of paper, and marbles. (Parent supervision is required while using marbles.) Place the paper in the bottom of your box. Dip the marbles in a chosen shade of paint and drop them in the box. Now the fun part: Ask your child to tilt and dip the box from side to side so that the marbles roll across the paper. Repeat with different marbles in different colors. Modern art!
