Spot a Bird

Have some free time on a pretty day? Take your tween outside for some fresh air and bird watching. Sit and watch as birds land around you. Identify breeds, gender, and grouping patterns. You may need a bird-watching guide, which could be provided by a local park or a public library. To enhance the volume of birds, have your child spread out birdseed or breadcrumbs.
