Taking Turns

Even at the tender age of two, your child can learn and practice taking turns. Be sure your child’s preschool or daycare emphasizes such things as letting other kids speak in turn at “circle time.” But remember: it’s a process, not a one-shot lesson — and it takes a lot of patience.
