Tidying From the Bottom Up

Help your children have unstructured playtime by organizing their belongings and thinking about what they can most easily reach. Most-used items should be stowed where they can reach them most easily, whereas the stuff they either don’t need or use much — or things you’d prefer they not have unfettered access to — can be stored on high shelves.
