Use "The Book Thief" to Start a Dialogue About Difficult Topics

Reading a book can solidify your child’s reading comprehension whether you read aloud to each other or simply read in tandem. The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, is a fantastic book to try together. This book follows a foster girl living on the outskirts of Munich during WWII. This harrowing tale will leave you with plenty to talk about with your child.
